Being the first of its kind in Mauritania, our training center is dedicated to shaping the future of maritime professionals by providing comprehensive and accredited courses. What sets us apart is our affiliation with Grupo Stier Gran Canaria, which positions us as the exclusive training center in Mauritania capable of delivering accredited OPITO, GWO, and STCW courses.
The Oil & Gas sector is growing rapidly in Mauritania and the demand for local skilled labour will experience a real boom in the coming years. In alignment with the government's strategic vision for developing local skills and knowledge, Grupo Stier Mauritanie proudly contributes to the growth of Mauritania's workforce. We are the only officially accredited training centre in the country.
WHAT DO WE OFFER
OPITO COURSES
OPITO Certification enables and qualifies trainees to work as crew members on offshore vessels and/or to provide services on board them. It is the indispensable complement to any other training as it is the only one that allows access to a job in the offshore sector.
GWO COURSES
GWO courses are a series of training programmes designed specifically for workers in the wind industry. These courses have been developed to ensure that people working in the construction, operation and maintenance of wind farms have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their work safely and efficiently.
STCW COURSES
We provide specific training for anyone who is to perform work on board and to carry out emergency, work safety, security, medical care or survival duties. We train seafarers of different sections, according to the STCW Convention. Further we offer the necessary Refresher Courses to revalidate certificates that have expired.
TECHNICAL COURSES
We provide certified training courses for all things related to health, safety, and security in Oil & Gas operations. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive training solutions that can be client custom made while always meeting the highest industry standards.
